November and i haven't blogged!

Hello! it has been a while since i last blogged.  I have been busy recently, some things i am working on and some things i need to finalise.

The storms have started and im sat in blogging on a saturday night, im toastie warm though! Not too many things have bothered me this week, only a student that didn't know what wearing a poppy meant.

Anyway, something to lighten the mood:

Nick Griffin & Postal Workers

I couldn't believe how much question time was bias against Nick Griffin & How much the media was against the Postal workers this week.

I found myself sooo annoyed watching question time, some of Nicks answers weren't great, but still he was better than Jack Straw. Freedom of speech, the fact there was such a big who-har, proves how prejedice the BBC is. They love to make money, they love to spin these stories out of control, just like the Johnathan Ross and Russell Brand story. They make lots of money so they can send their so-called stars to many locations around the world.

Why are all the news reports highlighting the so-called charities that are going to miss out by these 2 days strike. Surely they won't be effected, they arent highlighting the reasons why the postal workers are actually going on strike.

The postal workers work soo hard, almost every day of the year, and still the media/government are too occupied in making money, its obvious they want to make the royal mail privatised, but they control the media in convincing us all to believe what they say, i am sure Hitler started off this way.

I hope the postal workers get what they want, the deserve it. Why are we all so afraid of standing up to what we believe? They have definately got us where they want us.

Autumn is great

I love the colours, the breeze and the sun that comes with autumn, you know it hasn't got long left until the awful weather begins, the darkness will take over our lives and our feelings. The winter is our hybernation, we may not sleep for the entire winter, but we definately spend more time indoors being unsociable(even though we try!).



I have the pre-winter blues, and i want to change me life, but my sane part of my brain is telling me to keep focussed, this, i am finding really difficult. Life is too short isn't it?.......

A kind of freedom

I have now deleted my account on Facebook, and it feels quite good, a kind of freedom! This is the way i have decided to communicate, even though the last post seemed so negative!

I know this blog is now called the simeonbd blog, but i still think of it as the New Year Challenge, i still want to tell you about the new things i have learned etc. Learning things can happen in minimal ways some months, and at times it can happen big, this is how life works. So there!

The Grapes,Wimbledon and selling the "Beast"

On this day i joined some poeple from work to watch the semi-finals at wimbledon with Andy Murray. Some people don't like him because they say he can be very grumpy, but i think he is great, because he is soo different to what we were used to with Tim Henman, at least with Andy i think he could actually make it to the finals of Wimbledon!

In the video I am talking about selling my car, and you get to see it for the last time, the camera work wasnt very good, it did seem a bit jumpy and didn't really show you the whole car, it was a Mazda MX3, it will be missed. Also, in the video you see how drunk i get, and i eventually end up in some randum local pub with Karaoke(can't spell it!), to this day, i dont actually know what pub it was.

R.I.P. Michael Jackson

Ok, so it has been a few days since the legend that is Michael Jackson died. I loved his music, mainly his early stuff though. What i find is really sad is that the press and media have gone the way they usually go, and cover every aspect, just like they did and still do with the late Princess Diana. Today i looked online on yahoo news and they were talking about how MJ's dad is out of the will-do they really care about the loss of the loved one? or do they just care about the selling of products etc.....this is obvious, if the story didn't sell they wouldnt broadcast it.

I know its difficult for these media "big wigs" to take a stepback, because other companies or individuals take on the story and make money, greed is a horrible thing, some civilisations are lucky not to have access to all of this corporate greed.

Anyway, all i want to say is that his music was great, he was a talented musician, singer and dancer, he will be missed, but i feel that in the world that we are in now it didn't work for him, people are desperate to make money in any way they can, and Michael didn't fit in(even though he was minted) He achieved what he has from working very very hard. Todays generation expect to get fame overnight-just like x-factor, Big Brother or whoevers got talent.

He got out at a good time, his music is legendary, and if you could think of anyone that would be missed as much as him within music, i would love to know, Madonna and U2 are the only ones i can think of at the moment, who do you think?

Sooooo many days to catch up with! today i learned to not trust ebay to buy or sell items that cost over £50 ($2)!!! Dont do it.

I sold my MX3 on there and the buyer never turned up!

THE NEW YEAR CHALLENGE IS STILL HAPPENING, AND WHAT I HAVE LEARNED IS THAT IT CANT ALWAYS BE DOCUMENTED WITHIN A BLOG! (which defeats the object of the new year challenge-in a way, but i created it, and i have learned from it lol)

Day 4 Month 2

I am contemplating the snow threats that the media have been throwing at us. Why is it that the "media" are so concerned in telling us about the "millions" that will be lost because "pupils havent gone to school" due to the severe snow, why are these bastards so concerned about money? Any other european country would just deal with it and not look for blame!! The UK is obsessed with making money, and making sure we all feel guilty about having fun.... All i can say is "don't believe the hype", in a 90's styleee

Day 33 & 34 Month 2

This is the second day i have tried to upload a video on to blogger, and
tonight especially, i have taken 4 hours uploading a video lasting around a
minute with no result!!! So Fu*king annoyed with it!!! Thats what i learnt!

All i could manage to do was to embed a youtube vid

I learned my car needs to be serviced

I got all excited about having done something new (sort of) everyday for a
month and didn't write anything near the end of this month. I
did learn this month that it is really hard to speak of something new
everyday, and when not able to, i would talk of my own
annoyances!

I learned how toastie a duvet can be, and how quick time has gone, when i
find out old friends from uni have kids and are living all over the country!!

I can't wait to get my car taxed so i can be on the road! To release the

I picked up my beast of a car today from a place called "Wool", in Wareham!
I learned how much of a beast the car is--WHAT A BEAST!!!!!

I learned how addictive ebay is, and now i have a new car!

I learned i left my cd walkman in work, so im going to have to walk to work
without it which im really not looking forward to, due to the fact i hate the
sound of traffic when im walking!!

I learned Alexander O'neal (early 90's r&b singer) gets really stressed!!!

Today i learned how to make good soup-great soup! All you have to do is
cook your veg etc, then place it in a blender and blend! MMNice Soup

I learned i should take heed to what the weather forcasters predict! Because i wasn't prepared for how cold it was today!!

Day 8

I learned i do get frustrated over the littlest of things,im not sure if that is new though! Ok, i learned this learning something new everyday is going to be difficult for the rest of the year, because im struggling now!! And its only the 8th Jan!!!

I learned there aren't any Copyright Law courses in Southampton

I learnt i must avoid banging my knees when ascending a ladder, ive
bruised both knees!!

I learnt that The Cats Protection League are requesting cat owners to "lube their flaps" at this time, because cat flaps are freezing up in this really cold weather! haha

The first thing i have learnt is

If you have a hangover and really bad headache, and you have no headache pills, its easier to just go to bed and sleep it off
